We decided to take a day trip to Muskoka to see the fall colours. 🍁
Our first stop was Lion’s Lookout— a hill overlooking Huntsville and the surrounding area…
Lion’s Lookout is a great spot to see fall colours.
Next up on our list was the Kawartha Ice Cream retail store.
We ordered Pralines & Cream and Butterscotch. 😍
From there we took a short drive to the Huntsville downtown.
Huntsville connects to multiple Muskoka lakes— so many cottagers will park their boats at the docks.
Our next stop was Bracebridge— just 30 minute south of Huntsville.
The Bracebridge Dam is a short walk from the downtown.
We explored a short trail along the river that the dam passes through.
We then ended our trip with a quick walk through downtown Bracebridge.
The Bracebridge Clock is home to artist studios, galleries and boutiques.
Huntsville and Gravenhurst are a bit of a drive from Toronto but you’ll definitely find some beautiful fall colours if you’re looking for an autumn day trip. 😊
