Underpass Park is found beneath the Eastern Ave & Richmond St overpass.
It was Toronto’s first park built under an overpass— transforming an underused space into an amenity.
The park is home to a basketball court…
… and a skatepark.
There’s also a playground.
Street artists have painted thirteen columns with works that celebrate diversity.
And 57 octagonal reflective surfaces are applied to the underside of the overpass.
At any point you can step out from Underpass Park and spot the CN Tower.
