High Park is closed this year— but there are still two spots you can find cherry blossoms: University of Toronto and Kariya Park.
UofT’s cherry blossoms can be found in front of Robarts library— near the St. George and Harbord intersection.
There are other spring flowers blooming at the university too. These were found just south of St George st.
The other spot to find cherry blossoms is Kariya Park in Mississauga— just next to the Square One mall.
Cherry blossoms and magnolias are in bloom in the park from the last week of April to the first week of May.
The park features Japanese-inspired gardens, walkways and structures.
There’s also a duck pond! 🦆
So even with High Park closed, you can still find cherry blossoms at UofT and Kariya Park.
