Black Creek Pioneer Village takes you back to an authentically re-created country village in the Toronto region.
We decided to explore it!
Our first stop was at the local saddle maker.
Inside the saddle maker’s workshop.
Actors are scattered throughout the village to demonstrate trades and other activities.
Next up: the general store!
This general store would have been built in the 1850’s and would’ve continued into the 20th century.
Exploring the interior of the Burwick’s household.
Stopping by the Black Creek Mill.
And of course— the local church.
The village shoe shop!
Shoes were made by hand and would be custom made to fit your foot.
The Black Creek Printing Office.
Our final stop for the day was the Town Hall.
Tickets to the Black Creek Pioneer Village must be purchased online prior to arrival.
The last entry time each day is at 1pm— so book an early entry timeslot to have enough time to explore everything. 😊
