Getting There
Remember: you can’t drive to Centreville — since it’s on Toronto Islands. Instead you’ll need to get to the island by either a ferry or a water taxi.
-
By Ferry: The most popular way to reach Centreville is by catching the ferry. It’s a short, scenic ferry ride from the city and honestly, it’s half the fun. The breeze, the views — it’s the perfect start to your day. Ferries run frequently, but I’d say get there a bit early during peak season to avoid the wait.
-
By Water Taxis: Unlike the ferry, which has a set schedule, water taxis can offer more flexibility with departure times, which is perfect for those who decide to make a last-minute trip. Pickup spots are dotted around Toronto’s harbourfront — just search Google Maps to find the closest one to you.On Foot: Feel like stretching your legs? If you’re on the island for other adventures, Centreville is just a pleasant walk away. Follow the signs, and you can’t miss it.
How to arrive at the ferry: Car parking can be found nearby, though we found it was a bit of a walk to the ferry dock. There are bus and streetcar options that drop you close to the ferry docks and plenty of bike parking. (There are also some excellent bike lanes along the waterfront.)

Family Pass: Entitles four individuals to enjoy unlimited rides for the day. Great for the whole family!

Season Pass: An all-access pass to unlimited rides all season long. Usually includes perks like discounts on food and merch.
